Southern Maryland Agricultural Marketing Conference – Nov 15

SMADC is hosting an Agricultural Marketing Conference on Friday, November 15th from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the College of Southern Maryland in Prince Frederick. This conference is designed for both beginning and experienced growers and farmers looking to brush up on their marketing skills before the 2020 season takes off.

“This is SMADC’s first ever full-day Marketing Conference,” commented Karyn Owens, SMADC’s Program Specialist and conference coordinator. “SMADC is well known for its niche marketing workshops, this conference takes our outreach to the next level with a full-day, multi-track slate of focus topics designed to meet the needs of beginning and experienced growers and farmers engaged in all types of agriculture.”

Four tracks with breakout sessions will be offered. Pick and mix your sessions/topics between all tracks – the choice is yours:

  • Track One – New and Beginning Farm Enterprises
  • Track Two – Advanced Marketing Skills
  • Track Three – State-Wide Trainings
  • Track Four – ‘On the Horizon’ – New or popular industries including Industrial Hemp, Urban Agriculture, Grains, and Agritourism

Early Bird Admission until October 25th: $30 per person

After October 25th, General Admission will increase to $40 per person.
Student/Youth Admission (With ID): $25 per person

Ticket includes light breakfast and catered lunch.
