2020 Had a Record Number of Applicants: EnergyLink3 Announced as the Winner

In 2020, F3 Tech had a record number of applicants for the Accelerator Program. Five applicants/finalists were selected to pitch (virtually) during demo day, leading to Boyds, Maryland-based EnergyLink3, as the winner of $25,000 in funding. Congratulations, EnergyLink3!

EnergyLink3 is focused on supporting the United States Department of Defense with their exclusive license of C4V™ battery management and energy management systems. This lithium-ion battery also can support commercial plants in rural areas.

With the help of the F3 Tech Accelerator Program and our on-site 3D printer, EnergyLink3 was able to speed up prototype development throughout the program.

Meet the Other 2020 Finalists

  • ACTIVEcharge: Developer of a self-powered wind turbine sensor technology.
  • InventWood: Develop of the world’s strongest wood-derived materials for tuse in the construction and automotive industry.
  • Solar Oysters: Provider of the automated oyster production system, “floatovoltaics.” This system has the potential to produce oysters in 45 times less space than traditional oyster farms.
  • Vand: Designer and manufacturer of an innovative hyper-personalized water filtration system, focused on expanding small-scale hydroponics.
